Privacy Notice

Last updated October 21, 2026

This notice explains what information Whitney Search Group collects through whitneysearchgroup.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have. If you have a question, email Jerrell@whitneysearchgroup.com.

Information you give us

If you submit your resume, we collect your full name, email address, current location, target role, your LinkedIn URL and any additional context if you provide them, your resume file, and the date and time you agreed to the acknowledgement on the form.

If you send a hiring inquiry, we collect your name, work email, company, company website if you provide it, the roles you are hiring for, and your description of your hiring needs.

We ask you not to include sensitive personal details, such as government ID numbers, date of birth, or salary history. The forms do not ask for them.

Information collected automatically

To limit spam and abuse, the website records a one-way hashed version of the network address a form is submitted from, along with a count of recent submissions. The original address is not stored by our website, and these records are cleared periodically. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs.

The public website does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. The private dashboard used by our founder sets sign-in cookies for that account only.

How we use information

  • To review candidates for recruiting searches that may be relevant to them.
  • To contact you about a possible opportunity or in response to your inquiry.
  • To respond to employers and discuss potential recruiting engagements.
  • To keep the website and its forms secure.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use automated tools to rank or reject candidates.

Introductions to employers

We will discuss an opportunity with you, including the company and role, before presenting you to a client. Your information is shared with a prospective employer only after that conversation.

How resumes are stored

Resumes are accepted in PDF or Word (.docx) format, up to 4 MB. They are kept in private file storage that is not publicly accessible. Only our founder can open them, through a signed-in dashboard that creates download links which expire after a short time. Resumes are not attached to notification emails.

Service providers

We use the following providers to operate this website:

  • Supabase, for database, private file storage for resumes, and sign-in for the private dashboard.
  • Resend, for sending internal notification emails when a form is submitted.
  • Cloudflare, for hosting the website and running the code that processes form submissions.
  • Google Calendar, for booking intro calls. If you book a call, Google receives the details you enter on the booking page.

When a form is submitted, we receive an email notification that includes limited details, such as the target role for candidates or the company name for employer inquiries, and a link to the private dashboard.

How long we keep information

We keep submissions until you ask us to delete them, or until we decide they are no longer relevant to our recruiting work and delete them. There is no automatic deletion schedule.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the information you submitted at any time by emailing Jerrell@whitneysearchgroup.com. When we delete a candidate record, we delete the submitted details, our notes about the submission, and the stored resume.

Changes to this notice

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
